And so faith is closing your eyes and following the breath of your soul down to the bottom of life, where existence and nonexistence have merged into irrelevance. All that matters is the little part you play in the vast drama. Real Live Preacher

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Stacey Ann Hall who was born in Medford, Oregon on February 15, 1975 and passed away on June 20, 2008. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Stacey was born February 15, 1975 to Teresa Hall and Audie Ray Geer in Medford, Oregon.  Stavey grew up in the Longview-Kelso area and graduated from Mark Morris High School in 1993.

In 1994 , Stacey's life was forever changed by the birth of her first child, Brycetin.  Brycetin was diagnosed with cancer just 13 months later and she found her calling - nursing.  When cancer treatments left Brycetin with special needs, Stacey was a tireless advocate for therapy and treatment to help her child.  She was also a gracious educator; helping others, especially children, develop empathy for the disabled.  In 2001, her family was completed by the birth of her son, Taylor.  Though there were many adversities along the way, including Brycetin's death in 2003, she persevered and graduated from the Lower Columbia College nursing program in 2005.

Stacey will be remembered by friends and family as very outgoing, independent and motivated.  She took great pride in her career as a nurse and got a lot of fulfillment from knowing she was helping others.  She always was willing to go the extra mile for family and friends.  She was a great mother and adored her boys.  She is loved and will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her son, Taylor A. Porter of Longview; her mother, Teresa R. Hall of Longview; her father and stepmother Audie Ray and Lorrie Geer of Elkhart, Indiana; her stepfather, Kelly J Schweitzer of Longview; three sisters, Darcie Bentley, Devin Hall and Jamie Geer; two brothers, Jordan Hall and Benjamin Geer; her grandmothers, Velma Hall, Geneva Champion and Beverly Schweitzer; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who were like family.

Life is an unfoldment, and the further we travel the more truth we can comprehend. To understand the things that are at our door is the best preparation for understanding those that lie beyond.
